Tea

We have been tasting and selecting the best available tea's from all around the world, from the strong Indian Assam's to the light and fragrant Japanese greens. We have over 80 different teas in stock in the shops, which we are now available online.

There are three main types of tea; Black, Green and Oolong. Black tea is fermented, Oolong is semi-fermented and Green tea is unfermented. Tea is also graded by quality: generally the larger the leaf, the better the quality and the smaller the leaf the stronger the taste.

Black teas are usually served with milk and/or sugar whilst Green tea and Oolongs are best served on their own. In addition to this, Green tea and Oolong generally need a shorter brewing time (2-3 minutes) and water that is just under boiling temperature.
