Kenya coffee is noted for its wonderful aroma. It also has the pleasant sharpness of the African coffees but with a richer, fruitier flavour than the lighter Mocha. There are overtones of berries and citrus fruits with a winey aftertaste and a rich yet light body. ‘AA’ denotes the highest grade on a scale decided by the Kenyan coffee board, the first ‘A’ being cup quality and the second being bean size. Generally considered by experts to be one of the finest and most unique coffees in the world. This coffee was also a winner of a one star gold at the 2007 Great Taste Awards.
