Grown in the Central Valley area near the capital city San Jose, this is a classic example of a fine Costa Rican coffee with a hint of gooseberry like sharpness. This coffee is certified Rainforest Alliance. The citrus and berry overtones in the cup are indicative of a classic light-bodied Costa Rica at its best. There is a zesty flavour which is complimented by a sweet finish with an almost floral aroma.
