Maragogype is named after a region of Brazil where especially large beans were found to grow. A big bean with a taste to match, selective breeding has ensured that these beans are grown in certain South American countries such as Mexico, Nicaragua and Brazil.  They are very sought after due to their smooth flavour and attractive appearance. Often referred to as the ‘Elephant Bean’, this is a well balanced coffee with medium body, good acidity and a clean flavour. Perfect for breakfast when brewed in a cafetiere or filter.
