A traditionally processed coffee, handpicked and dried in the same drums used by the Family Atienza for the past hundred years. The head of the family and business, Roberto Atienza, has such respect for his coffee that he spends nights next to the drums waiting for the exact moment when the beans have reached the perfect level of dryness. This produces a smooth, velvety taste which can often be a surprise to the palate. It possesses a classic aroma, semi-sweet, with a hint of caramel and spicy overtones. Often compared to Jamaica Blue Mountain, due to the geographical proximity in the Caribbean and delicate finish, but available at a more reasonable price.
