Darjeeling
Often called the ‘Champagne of Teas’ by connoisseurs. Darjeeling is grown at a much higher altitude than other teas and is often described as having a muscatel aroma with a hint of spiciness. As with coffee, the higher tea is grown, the more delicate and rich the flavour. Grown in the Himalayas at up to 6500 feet this ensures a high quality tea is produced. Best served without milk. Available in a variety of leaf sizes and types:
Darjeeling Broken Orange Pekoe
Darjeeling BOP
A medium sized leaf tea, the smallest leaf size of all our Darjeelings but still a good quality at an excellent price. The smaller leaf size guarantees a stronger brew for those who like a good splash of milk.
