Bolivia San Juan

Grown at altitudes of 1250-1500 metres above sea level near the Bolivian capital La Paz, close to the border with Chile. The San Juan Cooperative was founded in 1974 with 25 members. It has now expanded to 35 members and works closely with Algrano in order to make direct trade between roasters and producers as easy as possible. Wonderfully easy drinking, this coffee has notes of dark chocolate and nuts on the nose with a juicy body and hints of nuts and red apple. This coffee is suitable for all brewing methods but is especially suited to cafetiere and filter.
