Costa Rica Aquiares Caribe

Aquiares sits on the slopes of Turrialba Volcano, the south-eastern most volcano of Costa Rica’s Central Mountain Range, which faces the Caribbean sea. The region is blessed with rich volcanic soils and abundant rainfall which brings in nutrients from the Caribbean sea resulting in a regional blend that has a mild, juicy acidity and a large bean. A classic Costa Rican washed coffee with a distinct chocolate sweetness, hints of nuts and a delicate citric acidity. Suitable for all brewing methods, we particularly enjoy this coffee as a cafetiere or filter but it also makes great espresso.
