In the village of  Gurra Garuvu, nestled at a lofty altitude of 1200 MASL lies a coffee farm that exudes a charm of its own. Anita and Korra Venkat Rao’s farm is full of towering teak and silver oak trees that act as primary shade for the coffee plants whilst mango and papaya trees provide a secondary shade. In addition to coffee, their 2 acre farm is home to vigorous pepper vines. The farm’s deep, dark soil is perfect to nurture the carefully manicured coffee bushes and lush pepper vines. They produce a natural processed coffee that is rich and complex.  Full bodied with notes of vanilla, spices, rum and a hint of pineapple on the finish. Suitable for all brewing methods, this is a very special coffee indeed.
