Bancha

A dark green flat leaf with a mild earthy taste that is distinctively refreshing. Harvested later in the growing season, after the spring first flush has been completed. This gives the leaves a larger size and more mature flavour and also results in a lower caffeine content and a smoother taste than other green teas.
