Description
Located near Mount Selinda in Eastern Zimbabwe, they have been planting coffee here since 1955. Grown at over 3000 feet above sea level in sandy Clay- Loam soil which provide perfect coffee growing conditions when combined with the 1250mm of annual rainfall that falls in the region. The estate provides its employees with onsite housing, clinics, schools, sports grounds and a daily cooked lunch. They have also heavily invested in the installation of 4500 solar panels which help to pump water to the farm. A full creamy body with hints of nuts, redcurrants and cranberries this coffee is best served as cafetiere or filter. We like to drink this coffee black but it will take a splash of milk if desired.
