Description

Las Nubes can be found in the Isabelia mountain range, a picturesque farm with views of waterfalls, landscapes and mountains. Grown by Victor Robelo who is a third generation coffee farmer, his family were forced from their farm during the Nicaraguan Civil War but he returned to buy the land and resume growing coffee at the earliest opportunity. He specialises in niche microlot varietals such as Maragogype, Bourbon and this particular example Pacamara which is itself a cross between the Pacas and Maragogype varietals. When brewed expect a subtle smooth coffee that is very well balanced. Notes of chocolate, apple and strawberry are complimented by a maple syrup sweetness. Suitable for all brewing methods. 

Winner of a 2 Star Great Taste Award in 2023, the judges said ‘An everyday coffee, tasty, rounded and a pleasure to drink, reflecting the quality of this origin’.
