A regional blend from the Lintong Nihuta district of Sumatra. The coffee is grown near Lake Toba, one of the world's deepest inland bodies of water, ona high plateau that offers the ideal conditions for arabica cultivation. Processed using the traditional Indonesian method of Giling Basah which involves hulling the parchment off the bean at roughly 50% moisture as opposed the the traditional 10-12% in other countries. This results in a distinct flavour which makes Sumatran coffee so very popular with our customers. Full bodied with a low acidity and notes of dark chocolate with a spicy, herbal finish. This coffee is suitable for all brewing methods and takes milk well.
